Personal Development and Business Coaching

  • Thoughts and ideas whirring around your head?

  • Feeling pulled in different directions?

  • Want to speed things up?

  • Have a sense of what you want to achieve but not sure how to get there?

It’s incredibly tricky to work on a challenge and observe your own thought process at the same time. This is why coaching helps my clients with:

  • Achieving goals

  • Finding clarity

  • Career development

  • Productivity, focus and motivation

  • Identifying and using your strengths

  • Imposter syndrome

  • Managing relationships

  • Values and prioritisation

  • Managing others

  • Teaching your skills to others

Coaching Relationship

My clients are people who are in the driving seat for their own lives, or who aspire to be. I believe in being the creator of your own life and love to work with those who like to create what they want whether that’s in work, their personal life or in their relationships.

If you want to feel confident that you’re moving closer to your goals, or want help pinpointing what they are, why not create a relationship where the only agenda is focusing on what matters to you (where else in life do you get that)?

Coaching Style

My style is calm, warm, straightforward and effective. My clients describe me as being supportive and thoughtful but also direct. If I observe something that might be taking you away from your goals I will tell you honestly, but there is no judgement, you are the world's foremost expert on you.

My approach is to coach from ‘the inside out’. The world is rapidly shifting and it is sometimes difficult to predict what is happening ‘out there’. My approach is to help people understand themselves better and to focus on what’s going on ‘in here’. I believe that by understanding ourselves better we are equipped to stay in the driving seat for achieving our goals regardless of any change life sends our way. Above all else, I am practical. Being trained in a variety of disciplines, I am not wedded to one modality or approach. I tailor each session to the person in front of me and they leave with personalised practical actions for getting the outcome they want.

As a result, my clients walk away with greater clarity about where to focus their energy and with tangible steps they can take to achieve their goals. They leave feeling happier, more energised and with a sense that they’re moving in the right direction for them. They usually end up making more money as a result too.

I'd recommend Michelle to anyone who is feeling stuck or overwhelmed with their business, or who wants to set some more tangible goals but doesn't know where to start. She more than pays for herself in terms of the impact she's had not just on my finances but my wellbeing too. Every freelancer should have a Michelle!

Coaching Background

I started coaching in the corporate world supervising regulated sellers for a mortgage company. This is also where I developed my business performance coaching and management development skills.

Recognising that it’s not enough to show people what to do and how to do it, I studied a range of behavioural change disciplines. I became a master practitioner, in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy and later, to broaden my range of coaching approaches, I became a Robbins Madanes trained coach. This not only expanded my range of emotional intelligence and life coaching capabilities but it also increased my skillset around managing relationships and gave me experience of coaching people from all over the world. I have upgraded my professional coaching credentials recently by becoming a Board Certified Coach.

Over the last few years, I have developed my interest in positive psychology. This gives me an up to date understanding of how to help clients nurture their wellbeing and find purpose and meaning in what they do. This has also led to me becoming a Strengthcope Master (Individual, Leader and Team strengths profiling tools). I believe strongly in investing in your continuing professional development and I am always studying something new.
